While browsing around the internet I stumbled upon a Menopause study done in Melbourne. It basically said that though we menopausal women can be moody, the fact is, our moods are on an upswing.
The study said that depression in women peaks between the ages of 35 – 40. Then, once the pre-menopause hits and we work our way through all the stages, many of the negative emotions actually begin to decrease, and our more positive emotions begin to increase. That's good news… although I bet my husband and kids would have liked a few less negative emotions during those years.
